Dior "Starry Dream" limited edition gift box packaging design cooperation case.

What the customer wanted: Dior wanted to design a limited-edition gift box for its high-end cosmetics collection that would visually embody the luxury and uniqueness of the brand while providing excellent product protection and presentation.

Design concept and function:

Our design concept is "starry Dream", which aims to convey the dream and high-end image of Dior brand through packaging design. The gift box uses deep black as the main color, symbolizing mystery and high-end, and the surface is printed with a bit blocky star bronzing pattern, creating a star-like visual effect. The interior of the gift box is designed with a special fixed slot to ensure the safety and stability of the product during transportation, while providing an elegant display effect.

Reflect the height of the packaging:

● Color and pattern: Using a classic combination of black and gold, the gold star stamping pattern adds mystery and luxury.

● Material selection: The use of high-quality special paper and lining materials to ensure the durability and touch of the packaging.

● Printing process: The difficulty of the hot stamping process is higher, especially the dot block star pattern, small and numerous, we have adjusted many times through different versions to stabilize and ensure the clarity and texture of the pattern.

● Structure design: The gift box adopts magnetic opening and closing design, which increases the convenience of use and the protection of the product.

Problems encountered and solutions:

● The challenge of hot stamping process: Because of its small and various characteristics, the dot block star hot stamping pattern puts forward extremely high requirements for the hot stamping process. We adjusted the hot stamping plate and process parameters for many times, carried out many tests, and finally achieved a stable and clear hot stamping effect.

● Structural stability: In order to ensure the stability of the gift box during transportation and use, we have optimized the structure of the gift box to ensure the robustness and durability of the gift box.
